Women's Pleasure Weekend

  • Unity Studios, Brighton (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

As a woman what is your pleasure? And what is getting in the way of your capacity to receive it?

Women know there is more to our real pleasure and our sexuality than most of us are currently experiencing. Yet but how do we access that and what holds us back from fully expressing ourselves? And how do we know and meet and our body’s needs and desires? Whatever pleasure you are having, or not having at the moment, it can always be deepened, whether that’s with yourself or with a partner. It always comes down to knowing our own bodies and releasing any blocks. So lets start reframing what pleasure and ‘sex’ looks like to us.

The more we work with women in the arena of sexual expression and pleasure seeking, the more we hear stories of disappointment, frustration, and confusion around intimacy, sex and relationship. It seems our bodies and our pleasure are a mystery to not only our partners, but also ourselves. Its time to change that.

Much of the media portrays female sexuality as male sexuality-lite and therefore if we don’t feel we have a high sex drive or performance skills we’re somehow broken. Our bodies, our pleasure and our arousal can operate in very different ways to men, and we all know this. It is important that we understand that this doesn’t mean that they, or we, are wrong in our capacity for pleasure, just different.

This weekend will allow you to learn what you might like to experience, build your confidence and open up new future possibilities for new pleasure.

Consensuality and Tantra

Ali Grace and Annabel Newfield offer you this in-depth day to explore touch and consent… Throughout the day we will drop into the magic of the moment, connecting, very simply, to open ourselves to be truly receptive to touch…  the days offers a beautiful and gentle learning curve, and by the end of the day you will have new awareness and skills.

Often in everyday life touch receives the least attention of all our senses, yet many of us have a deep longing to be touched in the way that we want, in and by the presence of another. Those of us already aware of this are looking for ways to improve the quality of the touch we wish to give and receive, to enrich our pleasure and our relationships.

This day will marry Annabel Newfield’s teachings around Tantra and Scared Sexuality, and Alison Pilling’s ‘Consensuality’ teachings.  ‘Consensuality’ derives from 'The Wheel of Consent' developed by Dr Betty Martin, a world-leading educator on sexuality.

Together we will create situations where you and others can practice asking for and giving and receiving the touch that you want. This is a caring comfortable and confidential environment that allows you to relax and experience the power of this practice for yourself.

We include tips for sensual and nurturing touch that will enhance the pleasure of your relationships. You will discover in a non-judgemental and safe way that your boundaries and pleasure are your responsibility and that there is a wonderful freedom in being able to clearly state what you would enjoy giving as well as well as receiving.

Reading For Pleasure - Come As You Are

Come as You Are reveals the true story behind female sexuality, uncovering the little-known science of what makes us tick and, more importantly, how and why. Sex educator Dr Emily Nagoski debunks the common sexual myths that are making women (and some men!) feel inadequate between the sheets.

Underlying almost all of the questions we still have about sex is the common worry: ‘Am I normal?’ This book answers with a resounding Yes! We are all different, but we are all normal ― and once we learn this, we can create for ourselves better sex and more profound pleasure than we ever thought possible.

From Safety to Sensuality

Combining the best of the safety, connection and boundary setting of a cuddle workshop, with feeling safe in expressing yourself in intimacy, this day allows you to relax and be brave.  We'd all like to feel cared for enough to explore our edges around more sensual touch and here you'll have the opportunity to do that.  Andrew will host a structured cuddle workshop filled with fun and exploration during the first part of the event, and in the second part, Ali will share ideas about exquisite conscious touch and what frees us to express that.  This allows us to move from healing and nurturing touch, to the more sensual realm, with confidence and desire.   Based still within the wheel of consent, you'll feel free to explore within your own limits and pleasures.  There is no nudity in this workshop though we advise you to dress in layered clothing.

16 places £55.  £47 if booked before 20 August.  Please email Ali or Andrew to book

Consensuality

Consensuality

It may seem that in everyday life touch receives the least attention of all our senses, yet many of us have a deep longing to be touched in the right way for us, in and by the presence of another. Those of us already aware of this are looking for ways to improve the quality of the touch we wish to give and receive, to enrich our sensual pleasure and nurturing our relationships.
Many people don’t know what ideal and wonderful touch feels like, either to give or receive. Even if we are aware of the potential we might not know what we truly like or be aware of the range of what’s possible.   When we give, we might be unsure or nervous about what our partner really desires, and often rely on telepathy or past experience. Inputs from  the media offer unrealistic examples of how we should or should want  be touched and touch and this can undermine our confidence and leave us feeling dispirited.

Our “Consensuality” sessions deal with all these issues.  We teach a practice known as 'The Wheel of Consent' developed by Dr Betty Martin, one of the leading world educators in sexuality. We create situations where you and another can practice asking for, as well as giving and receiving the touch that you want.

Ali and Sara are passionate about the healing, life enhancing and relationship deepening possibilities that focussed and skilful touch opens up. You will find yourself touched not just physically but also emotionally.

We suggest you dress in comfortable layered clothing that you may easily remove if you choose to do so.  Please be aware that there is no nudity in these workshops.
£85 or £75.  Early Bird rate if booked before 25th Feb

Body Love- How to love yourself and feel great

We have only one body and it is precious. The body is a fundamental bridge to the world, and how we think and feel about it affects all our interactions. And when it comes to sex, you are never going to fully enjoy it if you're not comfortable in your own skin. Inhibitions will prevent you from losing yourself in the moment and really letting go in pleasure. Join facilitator Sara Rose Bright to discover the practice of BodyLove, connecting you to your body and providing practical, everyday approaches on how to accept, embrace and celebrate the body you have.

G-Spot Experience @ Bliss Ireland with Sarah Taylor
Aug

to Aug 11

G-Spot Experience @ Bliss Ireland with Sarah Taylor

Workshop at Bliss Ireland festival, led by Sarah Taylor and Ali Grace.

The workshop is in two sections, the first includes information & discussion on:

  • The vulvovaginal system and arousal
  • Squirting (female ejaculation) - not the aim but a welcome side-effect
  • Pelvic floor muscles and the importance of movement
  • Breathwork
  • Moves and strokes that work the G-Spot; use of dildos and G-Spot massagers
  • Consent, though we will also be working with a basic assumption that everyone involved is in principle consenting to what's going on

The second part of the workshop include hands-on G-spot stimulation in pairs. Those who are not going to participate (either as giver or receiver) in the final hands-on experience, are most welcome to attend the first two hours of instruction/preparation and will be asked to leave for the final hour so that all participants engaging in the hands-on part of the workshop feel safe and remain relatively unobserved by others. If participants want to bring dildos they are welcome to do so - there will be some available, along with latex & latex-free gloves, lubricants & coconut oil, for purchase onsite.

To participate in the second part of this workshop you must sign up to the workshop in a pair of people, this can be a couple in an intimate relationship or friends, at least one person in the pair must have a G-spot!, there is an invitation to nudity & hands-on G-spot stimulation for the second part of this workshop only.

We will be emphasising that a deeply held intention either to orgasm or to squirt can hamper pleasure, and so the primary guide to the experience is to relaaaaaaaax and enjoy!
